Dear Barb’s Army,
Barb left me a message today and said that chemo went well yesterday. Her blood work looked great, and she feels terrific today. She is off chemo next week, but will continue to get her white blood cell shots the end of next week. Katie is heading back to Iowa with baby Eric (4 months) on Jan 30th, so she can attend Barb’s Mayo Clinic appointment on February 2nd.
Keep the faith and prayers going. Barb is doing remarkable well! Love, MK

: Barb...Well...I think we are all seeing that you have begun to define toughness and tenacity! Since God won't give you more than you can handle, He surely has faith in you! Possibly even He didn't bargain that you would be able to endure this much! Though I wouldn't wish your suffering on my worst enemy, I am humbled by your strength of spirit, and I learn from it each day. And, although it pains me greatly to say it...I am glad the Hawks won and that the men in your house are happy.
