Dear Barb’s Army,
Barb, Jason, Katie (Barb’s doctor sister) and baby Eric (4 months) will be heading to Mayo Clinic tomorrow (Monday). Barb will have bloodwork and a CT scan on Tuesday morning and then she has a 2:15pm appt with Dr. Grothey. Barb continues to look and feel great! Please keep her in your prayers!
Matt had a very successful swimming weekend. He had a 3 day swim meet in Cedar Falls. He had many Personal Records! However, Matt’s greatest accomplishment was swimming the mile (66 laps) in 20 minutes! It was the first time Matt has ever swam the mile in competition. He took first place, had an “A” time, and qualified for the state meet in the mile! Congratulations Matt! Katie was able to see Matt swim the mile and said she would have been on the bottom of the pool a long time before he even finished. Leave it to Kate to “call it like it is!”
