Great News from Mayo!

Dear Barb’s Army,
The news out of Mayo Clinic for Barb is Great! Her tumor marker (CA 19-9) is down to 117 from 142. The CT scan showed NO tumor metastisis in the liver….thus, the liver is clear of tumors! There is one indeterminant lymph node that is 1.5 cm. Last CT scan it was .8cm, so they will keep their eyes on that. Barb’s bloodwork all looked good. Barb is elated with the news! Katie said that the Mayo Clinic is amazing in every way. And according to Jason, baby Eric was a trooper and wants to become a Hawkeye one day. Safe travels to Katie and Eric as they head back to warmer weather in California on Wednesday. (It was 6 degrees when I talked to Katie to get this update.)
Thank you to Amy and her family who kept tabs on Jimmy and Matt while their parents were up at Mayo.
