Hospital Update

Dear Barb’s Army,

Barb has been in the hospital since sunday. Dr Merchant thinks Barb had colitis, possibly typhlitis. Typhlitis is inflammation of the bowel due to a low WBC. Barb had a low WBC due to the chemotherapy and radiation. Barb is still in some abdominal pain which needs to get under better control before she goes home. Barb has been on antibiotics and has continued to get radation while in the hospital. She is slowly getting better and should be out of the hospital soon.
Keep the prayers going.
